- Bradley Wiggins to complete the 2012 Tour De France and finish in the top 3.
- Stuart Broad to be the highest wicket taker in the summer test series against South Africa
- Jonathon Trott to be the highest run scorer in the summer test series against South Africa
- Europe will win the Ryder Cup 15 1/2 to 13 1/2 at the Medinah Country Club in the USA.
- David Haye will come out of retirement and once again lose to a Klitschko but not in March as at first expected. This bout will happen int he second half of the year.

It is that time of year when we like to go back and review our predictions for 2011 and then vow to do better this year. We don't profess to know it all about sport but it is fun trying. We only got 2 right in 2011 - New Zealand to win the rugby world cup and KP being the top run scorer in the Indian test series. So should we go for some safe bats to ensure we get more right or take the risk again.
